Description
We’re looking for a technical product manager to drive Skip:Connect from early signs of product market fit into a category-defining product in the blockchain infrastructure space.
The ideal candidate for this role would probably be bored by most jobs with “product manager” in the title. They’re animated to do whatever it takes to drive their product and company to success — whether that’s dev rel, technical architecting, roadmapping, writing docs, or project management. They don’t consider any task below them or any activity out-of-their wheelhouse.
They have multiple skill spikes that rarely coexist: deep developer empathy, excellent organizational skills and follow-through, and the ability to communicate effectively in writing & verbally in almost any situation.
They are more technical than the average product manager. They could, for example, contribute to protocol and mechanism design conversations, ensuring all parties to the protocol are represented in it and all actions they might want to take are well-defined. They could help point out areas where something is over or underspecified.
They are obsessed with moving quickly.
Role
- Work closely with the leadership team and other product leaders at the company to develop and execute the product roadmap for Skip:Connect and integrate it into our other products
- Stay in constant contact with Skip:Connect’s customers, get to know them & their businesses, and drive the roadmap around their needs above all else
- Contribute to the go-to-market and sales strategy & execution for Skip:Connect, including expanding to emergent rollup ecosystems, and other established L1 ecosystems (Ethereum, Solana, etc…)
- Collaborate with engineers and team leads to maintain (and accelerate) our best-in-class shipping velocity and product quality
- Do whatever it takes to build a market-leading product and cultivate legitimate developer love
Qualifications
Required
- Experience successfully building new things from scratch for long periods of time and through hardship
- Ability to synthesize many disparate pieces of information and viewpoints from different sources into high-confidence decisions very quickly — even in highly uncertain circumstances
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Background in computer science, math, quantitative economics, or software engineering
